A coastal developer 
steps inland

Vastgoedgroep Degroote has been building along the Belgian coast for decades. With Ever, they plant their flag inland for the first time: 252 residential units on the former Blekerij site in Kortrijk, along the Lys river. A six-year phased development featuring two residential towers, three low-rise volumes and a two-hectare public city park. For a developer landing in a new city for the first time, there's little room for error. The launch has to land perfectly from the start.

of tomorrow

On the 270° projection, visitors stroll along the banks of the Lys and look out over the skyline from the sixteenth floor. On the interactive scale model, they tap a building and it lights up. On the touchscreens, they open up an entire tower: floor by floor, unit by unit, with specifications, orientation, terrace and view. What a real estate advisor once spent twenty minutes explaining with floor plans and brochures, visitors now discover for themselves, at their own pace.

The cinematic content in between does what static renders cannot: it makes you feel what life along the Lys looks like. The golden light on the water. The quiet of the riverbanks. The city staying within reach.

What the space delivers

On 8 May 2025, Ever launched. More than 400 visitors passed through the Experience Room in a single evening. The mayor and the alderman for urban renewal took the floor. What Degroote received in return from the space is not just more sales, but better sales. Visitors stay longer. They leave better informed than when they arrived. They decide faster, or they conclude faster that they won't decide, which is worth just as much to sales. Degroote's real estate advisors notice that their conversations have moved to a higher level. They no longer explain floor plans. They answer the questions the space has already raised.

The tool doesn't replace the advisor. It makes them better.

An Immersive Space is not a showcase for our technology. It's a sales instrument that enables a developer to sit across from a buyer with more conviction, more calm and more confidence. The 270° projection, the interactive scale model, the touchscreens, the cinematic content: instruments that together serve one purpose. Making a project feel real before it exists.

With Ever, we knew from the outset that Degroote was taking a vulnerable step. First project in a new city. Many eyes on the result. We translated that into a space that not only shows what Ever will become, but also demonstrates that Degroote means business with its ambition. An experience at this level communicates something before you even buy an apartment: here is a developer who knows what they're doing.
